Property Tax UK is a small, independent set of calculators for the taxes and costs that come with owning or buying property in the UK. The site started with a Stamp Duty Land Tax calculator and is growing to cover Council Tax, take-home pay, and other property-related costs.

Each calculator is built to follow the exact bands and thresholds published by HMRC and local authorities — not simplified approximations. Where the underlying rates change, the calculators are updated to match.

This site is run independently by Gabriel Barberán and is not affiliated with HMRC, the UK government, or any local council. It's a personal project built to make a genuinely useful tool, not an official government service.
